Cindy is having trouble posting to the list because she uses too many swear
words. Honey, your epilepsy is obviously a handicap and should be treated
with the utmost respect, of course. But your left-handedness is just an
inconvenience. Did they keep a small section of the Colony roped off
specifically for left-handers?

Dear Christy, can you do me a favor??? Since I have trouble with replying
the list, can you put this on for me------it's addressed to "Bill. Dear
Bill, I read your comment on the klarinet list about declaring "left-handed"
people as "handicapped." I don't see where you think that you're "So
Superior" to us "Southpaws". Second, you sure as hell, don't know sh*t about
being handicapped. I will explain for the benefit of all. I was born in 1962
and at that handicapped people in my state(Virginia) were and still are
treated like sh*t. Back then, most of the people ended up in the
institutions run by the state, or they ended up in places like "the colony".
What's the colony you ask??? Well, here in VA,If you were severely
handicapped, mentally retarded, or had epilepsy(which, by the way, I just
happen to live with)----you were put there. Between 1924 and 1979, the state
of VA "Sterilized OVER" 8,000 people "Because" they were different. In fact,
there's a TV program that pops up on the Discovery Channel every once in a
while that "highlights" the VA colony-----Maybe YOU SHOULD WATCH IT!!!!! It
may "interest" the list to know that the Nazis "got the idea" for the death
camps" FROM US". In fact, the man who started the "Eugenics" program here in
VA, "WAS INVITED" to Berlin in 1936, to show the Nazis "how to do it." This
by the way, is mentioned in the program, I know, because I've not only seen
the show, but also Taped it. Just out of curiosity-----if all the people on
this list were to get together, and they witnessed someone having an"
epileptic seizure", I wonder how many of them would say that the person did
not have a seizure, but was drunk. The Epilepsy Foundation of America once
did a survey. One of the questions they asked was "If you were in a public
place and you witnessed someone having a seizure, what would be the first
thought that came into your head." OVER 85% of Americans asked that
question said, and I quote," That they believed the person having the
seizure was DRUNK" So, gang, UNTIL you have to live with being left-handed
or with epilepsy----which I HAVE TO DO for the rest of my life, you
shouldn't talk !!! Cindy P. S. What does this have to do with playing
the clarinet???? If you play, I'm sure that you have some sort of
intelligence.
