Subj: [kl] Eastern themes in western classical clarinet

Someone was asking for examples of Eastern themes in Western classical
clarinet:

In addition to Bartok Contrasts, I stumbled across:

Prokofiev - Overture on Jewsih Themes Op. 34 for clarinet, pian &
string quartet

(_Especially_ the moderato in) Aram Katchaturian - Trio for Clarinet,
Violin and Piano

Rezso Kokai - Quartettino (brief quartet?) for Clarinet and String Trio

You can hear these (plus a Prokofiev quintet) on a Walter Boeykens CD:

Prokofiev Quintettte Op. 39, published by Harmonia Mundi 1901419. I
bought my copy from B&N.com.
