Christy,

I'm definitely right-handed, though I believe musical playing has certainly improved the dexterity of my left hand. I started on Piano at age 6, an instrument which encourages some left-hand competence. But my primary instrument has been trombone for the past 30 years, which uses much more of the right hand (ok, actually right arm, and some left thumb for the trigger :-P ). I find that in playing clarinet now that I have very little problem coordinating my left hand, though I still cannot write with my left hand at all.
