Hello all,

The results of a brief conversation with Mark van de Wiel, who (cf. Michael
Bryant's post) recorded the Sussmayer concerto on the Olympia label.

The Sussmayer concerto is definitely for basset clarinet as the fragmentary
original contains basset notes. Not only that, but it contains a
four-octave scale up to altissimo C!

Now, I want to know if Tony Pay was really kidding or not when he talked
about Stadler demonstrating multiphonics to Mozart... ;-)
