Joseph, Last year I went to Lincoln, Nebraska to participate in Dr.
Diane Cawein's Midwest ClariFest. On Sunday I decided to go to church,
and was suprized to find that they were having a Middle East potluck
dinner, and every Palestinian from a 300 mile radius showed up, about
100, plus all the members of First Mennonite Church in Lincoln. The
minister had one of them play a video about conditions in the Middle
East, and the background music for the video was a Lebanese composition
with a string quartet and clarinet solo. I fell in love with the piece
and wished I could perform it. I couldn't write down the name of the
composer fast enough, and they didn't list the clarinetist at the end of
the video. I would love to play that piece. ANNIE
