I think great music is made in spite of politics not because of politics.
Certainly you have to consider all the horrible music written in the name of
patriotism world over....the great Nazi rallies had awful songs. Trade
union songs....patriot hymns and all that stuff really has some of the
tackiest hack music ever written....some people love it!!! Count me out on
