Annie, There is funny story about how I came to have 2 mini disk =
recorders.
About a year and a half ago, I had received our tax refund and we =
decided to
buy a new computer. I kept bidding on Ubid, but never seemed to get
anything I wanted. My hubby wanted some new stereo speakers, etc... I =
kept
bidding and in the past, we had always received an immediate e-mail
informing us when we had an accepted bid. I gave up and the following =
week
a computer arrived at our house on a Friday night. I began to get =
nervous
since I thought I had not been able to buy anything I wanted. I called =
the
company and they informed me I had "won" 3 computers, two mini disk
recorders, 2 MP3 recorders, the stereo speakers, a set of computer =
speakers,
and there might have been something else, but I'm not sure what it was.
Turns out the e-mail address they had for me was off by one digit and I =
let
them know in no uncertain terms this seemed highly unusual to me, since =
I
had purchased things in the past and had always been immediately =
notified
when a bid had been successful. We chose the computer we wanted and =
sent
the other two back. (they paid the shipping) The other items I had
duplicates of were fairly inexpensive and I kept them since it would =
have
been a hassle. I laugh about it all now and my kids still give me a =
hard
time about buying 3 computers at once. They were all different so it =
was
difficult to choose from amongst them. I wanted to keep them all once =
they
were here. LOL
