Hi, C.C. Another Zonda fan! I love these also! I do not have break in
problems with them, and though there is some inconsistency in
numeration, I've come to always expect that in commercial cut reeds.
The Zondas (at least the ones I've ordered) have always been aged
properly - no green cane! - so the feel is smooth, not that grainy
coarsness with the taste of grass and hay (I'm a person, not a rabbit.
Besides, I don't think my rabbit, SA, would bother chewing on used
reeds anyway. Too yucky)

Perhaps one day when I am done raising children, if I have a S.O. who is
busy with some hobby or another, I'll take up reed making. However, I
doubt that will be anytime soon, so, Zonda along with the Davie cane
products will continue to be my first choices for the foreseeable future.
