I am constantly reminded that a vibrato in music plays an important role
releated to real passion. When one is in the throes of a serious
romance, one trembles, one vibrates. The heart beats faster and it is
difficult to control oneself.

The art of producing a sound that trembles or vibrates is an attempt to
achieve a simulation of that kind of physical passion within the music.
You see the string player literally trembling to achieve a vibrato.
The hand shakes, and the speed of movement is related to the intensity
of the passion.

It is not called "vibrato" for nothing, you know.

Watsamatta guys and goils. Aintcha got the idea right?? A vibrato make
you tremble with love.

Ah romance!
