Your party sounds like it was a tremendous amount of fun. I tried to host a
get-together of just clarinets last summer, inviting all the clarinets in
two summer bands and everyone else I knew. Unfortunately I met with a
tremendous lack of response (well OK, it was a trio). I must have done
something wrong; even assuming that everyone hates me I'd think that at
least some people would show up to play clarinet and ignore me. I may give
it another try this summer, but I guess I need to work on publicity a bit
more.
