The typical Buescher Aristocrat plastic clarinet is a Bundy stencil
(clone), made by Selmer USA after they bought out Buescher. There are a
few insignificant differences in the tenon rings and trill keys, but
everything else is completely interchangeable. So the quality is
equivalent to any standard student-model plastic clarinet, such as Selmer
USA (Bundy), Yamaha, Vito, Evette, etc. Properly set up, it can be a fine
instrument. I use a Bundy for jazz playing myself. Just make sure you
have it looked over first by a repair tech. No sense busting your chops
with a leaky horn.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
