It is important to buy from a reputable place. It is IMPERATIVE to buy a
reputable INSTRUMENT, regardless of where you buy it from. If you can buy
a Buffet, Yamaha, Selmer, etc. from one of the mail-order places or
internet operations, fine. Just don't be surprised if the level of service
after the sale is poor/non-existent. But absolutely DO NOT buy a cheap
Chinese wall-hanger from ANYBODY! You are still better off, though, with a
place where you can try before you buy.
