Subj: [kl] Problem with Bass Clarinet

I will be playing the bass clarinet part of Gershwin's Piano Concerto
this Sunday. I am having a problem with hitting the high notes
consistently. I am playing on a Selmer with No. 3 reeds (Vandoren).
The instrument isn't mine. It's on loan from the orchestral program I
work with; thus, I'm not sure of it's exactly condition.

Are there any suggestions for me. I don't usually play the bass
clarinet and I only pull it out when I'm needed to perform. So, I'm
not sure of how to fix my problem. Any suggestions . . .
