What she said. The two sites look exactly alike. Clarinet Sales
http://www.clarinet-sales.com/ is not the same thing, I don't think.

The whole mail-order deal is making me uncomfortable. I've bought
mouthpieces from Woodwind and Brasswind by mail and in their New York store
before they closed it. I bought a Buescher alto sax from a guy who calls
himself Joe Sax, and it was and remains a magnificent instrument.

But. The Noblet I bought was an eBay "buy it now" from a place in San
Antonio called Musiqueweb. Very easy to deal with, very nice. But. The
REPAIR I just had done on the instrument wasn't part of the
advertisement. To top it all off the repair by Ardsley Music Service
didn't seem to make more than a 50% improvement in the problems the
instrument acquired. Someone thought $68.50 was a lot for adjusting some
bent keys and putting in some new pads: I figure that's the going rate for
anything in this area of the country. But. I never had to hold the Selmer
"just so" to get it to sound in the clarion on B and C. I do now. Do I
sound annoyed? What makes you think so?
