Where are you?

Wiseman are excellent - but horribly expensive. You can get replacement
Buffet cases here - either the workaday brown issue or the black version
that the Prestige instruments come in - and which have combination
locks. Much better than the stock version in my view. Obtainable from
places such as www.howarth.uk.com over here.

Subject: [kl] Clarinet Case

I had posted last week about a vintage Buffet from the 1940s for my
daughter. I had it examined by an independent clarinet repairman and
was
told it was in excellent condition and to grab it right away, which I
did.
I am now looking for a case for it as the original is not in good shape.
My
daughter has an E11 and I would like a nice Buffet case like that one.
I
have not been able to find this online, which is surprising. Does
anyone
have any leads where to get a case for a Buffet vintage instrument (I
presume an R13 case would be the one.). I would prefer Buffet, though I
am
open to suggestions if anyone thinks other companies' cases are
superior.
Thanks in advance.
Hal
