Hi Marc,

there is a book that I could recommend: David Pino 'The Clarinet and
Clarinet Playing'

It gives a lot of good advice concerning technical things and has a
paragraph about tonguing ands articulation which helped me a lot!

Hope this helps!
Martina

Betreff: [kl] Problem with tounging

Hi all,

I have a problem with tonguing. When I play my tong is low in my mouth
and is pushed against the teeth. The sound I produce is OK, I can play
staccato but not very fast and not very 'sharp'. I'm trying to keep my
tong high but it isn't working for notes in the upper register. Are
there any 'tricks' to make the change more easy?

Thanks!
