Guys, hate to say that but you are getting of the topic. For those who are
still interested, here is something to pounder.

US Copyright law in para 107 describes limitations on exclusive rights: Fair
use. (www.copyright.gov/title17/92chap1.html) Although this can be largely
interpreted (mostly by lawyers I guess) it still means that there are exceptions
made and that law, certainly, is reasonable and makes sense. If you wonder,
what is fair use, check this out - Fair Use of Copyright Materials -
www.utsystem.edu/ogc/intellectualproperty/copypol2.html -- they have come up with "rules
of thumb" which define when it is certainly OK to copy. Copying for
pageturns, limited copies for educational use, one archive copy would be considered
Fair Use. Maybe our colleagues in old England are not so fortunate.
