I agree with D. It is too much. A few years ago I paid $800 for an R-13
that was about 12 years old and had been owned by a pro and set up by a
"name" repair person.

Be sure she has a chance to play on some new professional instruments and
then compare. She may like the older instrument better, but I wouldn't be
surprised if it wasn't due for a major overhaul which will add $200-300 to
the price.
