Costs more than they are worth?

To me - no.
To anyone else - of course.

These are the instruments that I used for most of my youth. In that
sense it is clearly worth it. I don't have to be sensible all my life!

And just to prove I am really round the bend - it's only this year that
I have bought a pair of new RCs!
