I have been asked to supply a recording that I do not have.
In about 1975 to 1980 Benny Goodman played the 2nd Concerto by
Malcolm Arnold at St John's, Smith Square, London, in the presence
of HRH Princess Margaret among others. Before that, possibly encouraged
by the composers, he partook of some Southern Comfort or the like.
That performance was issued on a small label LP (Classics Record Club
associated with Book of the Month, BOM 30-5550) and broadcast.
Does anyone have it or know where it might be found, please?
