And I thought if you owned and could play (well) a selection of instruments
you had a better chance of being called on to play them. As a matter of
fact, I'm sure I've seen recommendations on this list for people to "double"
to better their chances of "employment". Now I recognise this has gone away
from the Marching band question, but maybe it is not such a bad idea?
