HI,

I play the by Mr Hausman called Yamaha=B4s "German Reform-Boehm" =
clarinets.
They have, as Mr Hausmann mentioned, "wrap around register keys". But --
contraire to what mr Hausman stated -- aren=B4t (!) "otherwise standard,
modern Boehm system". "Odd" ?
For instance: my instruments have=20
another Bb/f=B4 mechanism (exactely the same as Wurlitzer Reform Boehm) =
as the
"normal" modern Boehm system, and=20
for instance three holes on the right side under the last keys (lower =
part)
as to two for "normal" (French) Boehms, and=20
the Bb-Verbesserung (extra hole with opens only (!) when playing the
Bb=B4throat: Bb improvement).=20
Note: the Yamaha German Boehm style are "copies" of the Wurlitzer Reform
Boehm but missing (sniff sniff!) a few (still existing) patents of the
Wurlitzer Reform Boehm model: the Gable (fork) Bb=B4=B4 x0x!000 and the =
Gable
(Fork) Ab=B4=B4: xx0!0x0=20

( You " have to" play special Reform Boehm mouthpieces, (so not the =
German
mouthpieces for Oehler), made by Zinner or Vandoren (!) or whatever, =
with so
called German cut (white master, hahaha) reeds... ).=20
