Someone has pointed out that this is not a 'high school chat room'. Well,
no, of course not. But I think high school students should feel absolutely
welcome, and that in the long run the best tool for discouraging whatever thread
one doesn't like is the 'delete' key. When we get off track all age groups
seem to be involved. And there will always be such threads. I absolutely
understand feeling impatience and exasperation at some of the discussions that don't
appeal to me, but I don't want an atmosphere of "I can't write that, because
it is not technical clarinet stuff."

The only clear rule that I think applies is to not get rude or too upset by
anything that occurs here. By nature, this place is chaotic. The last time we
had this flurrie, someone wrote that they deleted most of their posts before
they sent them. Seems like a good idea.
