Hey, this is Dick Vigorous, Boss Rodent, gettin Lelia to fall asleep at the
computer an type this for me. Man, I gotta love this list. What a great
idea! I hope Lelia soaks some of her reeds in some nice sweet stuff.
Maybe leave em sittin out in a dish overnight. Woohoo, I'll be down the
drainpipe an shinnyin up the table leg so fast! Marachino reeds, yummy!
I'll probably have to eat a pack of cockroaches an ants off the reeds
before I can get at em, so I'll get me some bug-an-fruit salad, too. I
love bug-an-fruit salad. I bet my girlfriend, or maybe she's my
half-sister, or no, I think she's my ma, or no, come to think of it, she's
all them, I bet she'd pay good for some candied reeds. Bet I could get a
fat lawn grub per chomp from every rat in the neighborhood fer a delicacy
like that. Ain't no better place to live than the wall of a clarinet
player's house. I always said so an now I know it. But I won't eat nor
sell all them reeds, cause I wanna hear em sqeeeeeeeak!

Love from yer biggest fan,
Dick Vigorous
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right, I'm a rat. Rat yesterday, rat today, rat
for life. What's it to ya? Ya one of them snotty anti-rat bigots? Buzz
off.)
