My daughter started clarinet at age 10. As a reward for practicing
diligently for the first few months, I let her pick out something at the
music store. She saw the Flavoreeds and wanted some. Even though I had my
doubts, I got her some and did not say anything negative about them. Well
she tried them when we got home and told me never to buy them again because
although they tasted good, they played awful (she was accustomed to Mitchell
Lurie reeds that I selected for her use).
