I missed this message, and you missed the recital. Good thing. Actually, the
Mozart went quite well, despite a couple of overblown notes, and I have it
on video and audio tape.
The acoustics of the recital hall are marvelous. Was it worth a two hour
trip for you? No! But the day was sunny -- the only sunny day we've had in
Virginia since November 15, 2002. :)
150 in the audience, not bad for a rural setting. I have a newer Buffet R-13
A. I justa gotta say this. The intonation of these newer Buffets is so much
better than the instruments built a couple of decades ago.
