David,

Tom's new reed "toy" works well. It is a sanding block with beveled edges.
He has adhesive-backed 400 and 600 sand paper strips that are cut for the
block. The "system" also includes a nice flat piece of glass.
Tom is a good writer and has included a very good instruction set with the
tool.
The best part (as well as the fact that it works well) is that it's only
about $30. Brook Mays Music has plenty.
