You are, of course, quite correct. "Cheminee" is a "hearth." I wanted
to avoid complications by giving a much simpler translation and so I
used "Chimney" which looks and sounds like "Cheminee." The fact is that
I speak French and want to avoid unnecessary linguisitic complications
whenever I translate anything.
