Dan, thank you! I would love to play your basset horn for ten minutes. I'll
admit it. Half the pleasure I get from the clarinet is simply the good
feeling of handling a beautiful, musical tool. Pizza is a small price to pay
for the pleasure of seeing your new instrument, and of meeting you.
Bakersfield would be my stop. Of course I'll write privately for details.
I'm responding publicly because my question will be of interest to all, and I
like to see my name in print sometimes. You have mentioned it but I have
forgotten: your horn plays with a normal soprano mouthpiece, right?
