Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent bleaching agent, but please don't
drink it. I used to be the business manager for DuPont peroxide here
in the Asia Pacific and peroxides have to have small amounts of
stabilisers added to them to stop them decomposing. The stabilisers
are not nice chemicals. No need to go and be 'chemophobic' about this -
use it for reeds - I actually never thought of it for myself but I
will start to use on my reeds - just don't drink it!
