Hi there,

I use one of these fingerprick things for testing my anticoagulation. Of
course as a diabetic you will be testing far far more than me but I
don't find a problem with the device I use which is the softclix 2 from
Roche Diagnostics. I also use the side of my finger (usually my left
ring finger (forth digit counting from thumb side)although sometimes my
left middle.

It has never given me any trouble at all, even on those occasions when I
have been testing daily.

Aren't there newer, better ways to test your blood now days??? I seem to
remember a TV commercial recently with BB King talking about this????
