Well congratulations! I recently had my public sax debut in
a high school production of "Play On!" which is a collection
of Ellington tunes with kind of a story. (Though I'm 30-some
years out of high school.) At the party afterwards the
conductor said: "So you're really more of a clarinet player?"
And thanks for the good word about a currently much-maligned
gender. Men may be better than saxophones in bed, huh? Thanks.
