I've thought long and hard about the import of this low b. I understand
that it is possible to do. I've experimented a bit. I also understand
that it is Eric's habit to turn to the side to gain position on the
instrument. And I understand that Bob actually heard it.

Bear in mind that Bob is in his 50's and has been banging the ivories for
many years. His hearing may not be as sharp as it was. The truth is that
what Bob heard was a fart.
