This is a little off topic, but has to do with reed machines.

once day a sax buddy said his dad was making a "reed copier" which would
copy reeds. What you are supposed to do is put a good reed on one side and a
blank on the other and it is supposed to copy the reed. He said nothing more
to me about it and I forget to ask. has anyone heard of this "reed copier"
that I speak of???
