I have a question about tuning; I hope it is not too trivial. Dan Leeson=20
mentioned Eric Hoeprich playing the Mozart K. 622. I have a recording of hi=
m=20
playing this with Franz Br=FCggen and the tuning seems to be about 50 cents=20
flat. I have just compared that to my other recording (Tony Pay and=20
Christopher Hogwood) and they seem about 20 cents flat. Both of these are=20
with respect to A=3D440, of course, and both are played on 'authentic=20
instruments'. I am assuming that the average CD player is close to perfect=20
for my purpose. Would anyone care to comment?
