I don't understand this. Your last sentence indicates that you must be
talking about the clarinet part of the latest, 2000 edition (all
previous editions had the same spacing). Yet there are no wrong notes
in this part, contrary to what you assert in your previous sentence.
(We can't, I'm afraid, both be right:-)

In fact, the 2000 edition is almost identical to the 5th edition,
published in 1973. The differences are:

First movement

The 2000 edition puts an additional rehearsal figure 8 at the 'Très
calme', so the rehearsal figures are 'one ahead' of those in all
previous editions

Slur from trill in bar 92 to first beat of bar 93 (7 and 8 bars after
new figure 10)

Third movement

Four bars of trill, bars 52-55, figure 7 aren't slurred together

So much for Millan Sachania's "In addition, a number of significant
inaccuracies escaped attention [in the 1973 edition]," at least with
regard to the clarinet part.

As I said before, if your opinion is that both the 1973 and 2000
editions contain wrong notes in the clarinet part, then your opinion is
in error, and your advice is misjudged.

If you doubt this, you should perhaps see the photocopy of Poulenc's MS.
