Tony's research is almost certainly right. I recommend getting a edition of
the Poulenc published in the 80s or early 90s if you can find it at a library.
There are many "wrong" (in my opinion) notes and articulations. In addition,
the music spacing is to wide. Not only is that a waste of paper, and means
more page turns, but in fast passages, your eye has to travel so fast across
the paper to keep up with the tempo, that your brain cannot read the music.
Now, I know we're all going to practice it so much that the music is just a
reminder, but it can still be an annoyance and distract you from your
concentration.

As for the Stravinsky, there is a cheap edition from International music that
has the correct rhythms (I think even correcting the 4/8 measure that should be
4/16 in the last movement - the only mistake in the edition most people are
used to.)
