Fernando and everyone else,

The new edition is TERRIBLE. Don't use it if you can avoid it. There's a new
edition from Chester of the Stravinsky Three Pieces that is equally full of
mistakes.

I think what they did is went back to the original autograph, perhaps. Well,
between the original and the published edition, the composers had time to
correct their mistakes. These editions put all the mistakes back in. They're
useless.

Sean Osborn

I am needing your advice.

My Poulenc Sonata edition is from Chester music (1993). I know that there
are a new (2000) editon from Chester Music. Any of you have that edition?
If yes, which notes were printed on mesures:
first movement
fourth measure after rehearsal number 2;
fourth measure after rehearsal number 3;
last movement
one measure before rehearsal number 4;

Please, if you have those informations, contact me privately.

Thanks

Fernando Silveira
