Hi Forest,

Thanks for the cork suggestion. I corked the backside of the ligature =
just the same way I would make a thin cork silencer under bridge keys =
and trimmed it off and it works very well. The screws just make the =
connection, but after the cork compresses a little I think it will fit =
better. I hammered it as thin as I dared. Those Harris' are my =
favorite ligatures. I don't know why I didn't think of cork myself. =
You'd think working in a repair shop for 7 years would have jogged my =
imagination a little more. My "diversity" needs a little extension! ;)
