Anne, the duets you refer to are for French horns. They were never for
basset horns, though they had been published in such a form, but not in
the last 25 or more years.

The 439 pieces you refer to consist of 5 or 6 trios for three basset
horns. I am afraid I don't understand what it is your second paragraph
below is saying or asking.
