Just to clarify so that nobody thinks I'm a complete idiot, I was kidding
about the holes being there to make it lighter. And Dan has a point about
things looking funny. Appearances can be very deceiving. For example, some
of the people who read my joke about the holes in the bell making the horn
lighter quite possibly didn't think it was funny, but it really was. They
were just deceived by the appearance of a terribly corny joke.
