I've been holding this in all day and I doubt that anyone except
other clarinetists would appreciate this, but while on my way back
from the deli getting my lunch, I see Stanley Drucker walking in my
direction towards Lincoln Center.. I said "Hi Mr. Drucker" like we
were old friends (of course, I've never met him before) and he smiled
and waved back. I felt like I had just met a rock star or
something... it was a true motivator.. just had to share.

"Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you
don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's
a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to
art." - Charlie Parker
