I didn't mean "comes from originally" as historic etymology. I meant comes
from contemporaneously like "garage" and "pizza" (I know "garage" is a
French example, but it still applies) Of course, historically, all modern
languages come from another-that's where the "non" comes from (Latin).
Jesus, give a poor girl a break, will ya?
Great, now I'll have to defend religious rhetoric as well.

Non lo credo. (Per esempio:-)

I suppose almost every word in a modern language comes from another
language, 'originally'.
