I'm using the Kooiman "Maestro" thumb rest for more than a year now. It
takes some getting used to! I had trouble with my shoulder. After half
an hour of playing it did hurt like hell. Did some testing with my
physio and found that with the aid of the thumb rest it could reduce the
pain. The first couple of days I didn't like it... But after some small
adjustments it (again with the help of my physio) I found the correct
setting and never changed that. It helped me to get rid of the pain
totally!
