I just had the pleasure of meeting with Keith Bowen this morning and
playing his new basset horn from Steve Fox. The instrument is exquisitely
crafted. Cocobolo and gold keys - beautiful.

Steve has also resolved some minor acoustical problems from earlier models.
There is no doubt in my mind that Fox is the premier maker of basset horns
right now. Anyone considering a basset horn purchase should call Steve
about particulars.

I understand that his prices may be going up soon. Deservedly so!!!!!
