I've kept my mouth shut up until now, but I'd like to point out that it's
not necessary to be a leftist to be anti-Bush. Bush is no right-leaning
moderate. The guy is pretty far off on the christian conservative fringe.
Many of the republicans I know can't stand his moralistic rhetoric and find
his policies to be hypocritical. Then again, most of the republicans I know
are more the libertarian-leaning type rather than the fundamentalist type.
BTW, can anyone recommend a good basic book on music theory and composition
that's written for an experienced musician - not for someone who doesn't
even know how to read music?
