The Bach Flower remedies have been around for a long time. From my memory,
they originated in the UK. I *think* they're sold in the US, now, under the
name Ellon-Bach. Ellon sold them for several years, here, but there was a
merger of some sort a few years ago. (There was -- and probably still is --
a website, but I don't have a link.)

My daughter (as an adult) used the Rescue Remedy for a chronic nervous
condition. My MD told me to use the Olive extract for some very bad
nightmares. I get the ones I use from a health food store in one of the
towns where I practice. There's a fairly large number of extracts of
different plants for different uses.

The plant extract is stabilized in, I believe, brandy, but the amout of
alcohol you would get out of two or three drops under the tongue would be
very small. If you don't want to injest even that small amount, the
substance rubbed into the wrist is said to work about as well. There is at
least one other brand that has no alcohol in it, but I know nothing more
about it.

Hope this helps, Jim
