Patty, I am hoping to give the recital around May 15. I haven't set the
date exactly, because I haven't found the pieces yet. I ordered the
Mendelssohn Concert Pieces, but felt that they would probably sound
better with bassoon, and really don't want to hire a piano accompanist,
because I can't afford one. I am thinking of following the
recommendation of one of our members, on the Michael Kibbe piece. I do
adore Rebecca Rifkin's clarinet playing so much. I would love anything
she played. Maybe that duet will be the one. I'll write to Howard Klug
right away to order it from Woodwindianna Press. I hope it's not too
hard for me. Thank you for your recommendation of "Crosswalk". ANNIE
