Today the damn thing seems just fine. I can't even feel any resistance. I
guess the motto is Take care of your toys and they will take care of
you. Leaving it out of the case fully assembled was a boo-boo. I can get
away with that with my bass--a big old Selmer/Bundy--because it has a
one-piece plastic body and has a metal neck tenon. But wood acts like an
organic material (duh)--expands, contracts, all that good
stuff. Instruments are messy to mess with.
