From: AnneLenoir@-----.net (Anne Lenoir) Subj: [kl] Clarinet Duets for a recital Date: Sat, 26 Apr 2003 00:40:43 -0400
I have met a wonderful clarinetist, Emily Singley, here in Colorado
Springs, who has agreed to play a joint recital with me. I know that the
thread on clarinet duets was covered very thoroughly a few months ago.
I was wondering if anybody on the List has recently performed any
clarinet duets on recitals, with no piano accompaniment. I am not
interested in the Poncinella or the Poulenc, or any of the "Selected
Duets" by Rubank. I know that some information may be available from
former posts, but I'm not sure of how to get to them. Please forgive me
if I am being repititious or boring. I really want to give this recital,
and I am particularly interested in other clarinetists' opinions of
duets suitable for a concert based on a favorable experience with having
performed a particular work.. Neither of us has a Bass clarinet or a
basset horn. ANNIE
